Aleah, is a So Cal based photographer who specializes in the special, here images transcend genre and purpose but are consistently fused with contrast, emotion, and color, even when they are black and white.
“I AM NOT A ‘SPECIALIZED’ PHOTOGRAPHER. I SPECIALIZE IN CREATIVITY. WHATEVER YOU NEED, WHATEVER PURPOSE, WHATEVER SITUATION OR EVENT, I CAN DO IT.”
Her portraiture is unorthodox to say the least. Aleah seems to make true the claim that pictures capture the soul of a person. The eyes of her subject speak an eery depth and realism that contradicts the two dimensionality of the photo.
But the novelistic elements of each photo seem to harken so many more than those thousand words we beg of photography. However still the image, there is a subtle movement that takes place in the view that make the picture seems animated. This is the very definition of still. Life.
